The Dublin Singers
is the Community Chorus of Dublin, Ohio. Since 1996, the group
has provided an opportunity for singers beyond high school age who
enjoy singing a wide variety of choral music - sacred, classical,
popular, show tunes and folk music - to perform for the mutual benefit
of their fellow singers and the community of Dublin.
|
The Dublin
Singers, individuals who are drawn and bound together by a common love of
music and an uncommon desire to perform professionally while retaining
individual professions, have one common goal: to make and share
beautiful music.
The Dublin Singers present two major performances each
year:
 |
Our Christmas
concert, presented at the beginning of December, is an hour in length and includes
sacred and secular music of the season. There is an admission charge
for this performance.
|
 |
Our Spring Show includes a wide range of popular music,
some choreography, as well as costume and set changes. The Spring Show is generally two
hours in length including intermission. There is an admission charge
for this performance as well. |
In addition, The Dublin Singers perform shorter
concerts at a number of various community events in the greater Columbus
area. They are also
available to perform at private functions for a fee, depending on the
availability of the director and members.
|
The Dublin Singers are funded, in part, by a grant
from the Dublin Arts Council. |
